I love the Vegogarden beds, but they seriously need to get their shit together with their hardware issues. If one purchased the 32-inch height beds, the rods are too short, and the cover systems have hardware that doesn't match up either.

These lights are absolute trash. I gave one a spin and tested it with a par meter. The output is only about 500 par in a 1 x 1 foot space directly under the light at 12’ which is terrible. Overpriced Chinese crap with fancy packaging.

I think you want to stack this tote on top of another to collect the drainage. Also, i think its better to make larger 2.5-3in holes on each side of tote and seal with screens to prevent flys.

I have been watching a few of your videos. Good stuff! Honestly, if i was you I would get meat rabbits. I have some myself in northern Quebec (think like Alaska weather). 2 does and a buck(a trio) would get you about 180lbs of meat yearly. In addition to this, The waste after processing is about 12 to 15lbs x 5 times a year. That can all be fed to chickens. Thats what I do. The other thing is that Btw this is 5 litters a year with a 6 week break during summer hot weather. A hanging hutch caged system would be perfect. No constant cleaning. No smell, no noise. Kids love them. Your cold weather isnt a problem. You can sell kits and the 💩 can be sold. Its by far the best menure and it doesn't need a menure pile. Fresh can go straight into your garde. I sell a 5 gallon pail 10 to 15$. With your garden, the scrap cuttings that chicken dont eat... well they love them. Feed would be 6 to 8 - 50lbs bags yearly. 25$ a bag at harbour freight. If you feed them only pellets. I cut that by half with stuff from garden. So yearly cost of meat is less then a buck per lbs. If you are interested. I can help with good YT ressources and breeds to choose.

Many have mentioned, really only good for 2-3 hens. Can be issues of quality of materials, and longevity. The issue I point out is additional predator proofing is needed. The board at the base of the nesting box needs screwing down, foxes etc, will get under and push it up. Also digging predators from the sides needs protection. Ultimately, convert a shed or maybe large playhouse to your needs. These little coops are expensive in the longer term (you will want more chickens), so do your research, and put that money into bigger and better.

Wish my birds pooped twice as much. Coffee grounds for bedding in the coop. Scoop the poop often and take some grounds with it. Soak it well for a few minutes and straight into the soldier fly bin. Couple of weeks and its ready to use anywhere you want along with about 22 lbs of larva to feed the chickens. Circle of life brother. Don't waste it....

My little pens love peppers. I also am my gardener. So I have had to pick off all the small peppers on my pepper plants before I put them in the ground because I need them to focus on vertical growth versus focusing the energy on the fruit. I have had to take them in and chop them up in the food processor just to make them small enough to keep them interested and they destroy it.. I also make homemade applesauce and I have so much that's going to go bad so I gave them the applesauce and they devoured that also..

Thank you. Even the most well known "advance" type of youtube growers tend to skip over how in what quantities is needed to start off and im literally trying to plant my first basil plant in a hydroponic style. I was going to get the "dry nutrients" but honestly this stuff is wayy more cheaper. So I wanted to understand the ratio needed to begin growing them.

Bro on a scale to how white are you, calling bell peppers like actual peppers is crazy, they're "Sweet Peppers" which is also considered a berry. They also contain no capsaicin, which is why they're they're sweet peppers which is totally different than peppers with capsaicin. Calling them Peppers is like calling peppercorn peppers.
